Our community is built on creativity, kindness, and a shared love for food. These Community Guidelines help make Gobble Guide a safe, inspiring, and enjoyable place for everyone.
By using Gobble Guide, you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Content Moderation Policy.
1. Our Community Values
We encourage users to:
- Share authentic, original recipes
- Inspire others with creative food ideas
- Engage respectfully and helpfully
- Celebrate diverse cultures, cuisines, and cooking styles
- Contribute to a welcoming, supportive environment
Gobble Guide thrives when everyone participates with positivity and respect.
2. General Rules
To keep our community safe and supportive, the following rules apply to all users.

- Post original recipes, food images, and cooking tips
- Save, organize, and engage with recipes from other users
- Comment respectfully and constructively (once the feature is available)

- Post harmful, hateful, explicit, or illegal content
- Upload images or text you don’t own or have rights to
- Mislead others about ingredients, nutrition, or food safety
- Spam or promote products/services without permission
- Bully, harass, or insult other users
- Post violent, graphic, or disturbing materials
- Share private or personal information (your own or others’)
3. Posting Content Responsibly
3.1 Be Original
Only upload content that you created or have the right to use. Respect the work of other creators, authors, and photographers.
3.2 Keep It Food-Focused
This is a cooking and recipe community. Non-food or irrelevant content may be removed.
3.3 Share Safe Practices
Avoid posting recipes or instructions that may cause harm, including:
- Unsafe food handling
- Undercooked foods without proper warnings
- Unsupported health claims
- Advice that replaces professional medical guidance
If you share content with potential risks, please include a note or warning.
4. Respectful Interaction

- Supportive and constructive comments
- Sharing tips, alternatives, and helpful suggestions
- Respect for cultural food traditions and dietary choices

Not allowed:
- Insults, harassment, or targeted attacks
- Discriminatory language
- Mocking or dismissing others’ food choices
- Trolling, spamming, or provoking arguments
Treat others how you’d like to be treated. Food brings people together—let’s keep it that way.
5. Protecting the Community
We take community safety seriously. The following are not permitted:
5.1 Harmful or Dangerous Content
Content that encourages unsafe behavior, injuries, or illegal acts will be removed.
5.2 Adult or Sexual Content
Gobble Guide is a family-friendly platform. Nudity, sexualization, or adult content is not allowed.
5.3 Violence or Graphic Imagery
Violent or graphic images—even if food-related—are prohibited.
5.4 Misinformation
Do not share misleading or false claims about:
- Nutrition
- Allergies
- Medical benefits
- Health outcomes
Recipes are meant to help and inspire, not endanger.
6. Advertising, Promotion & Spam
We want Gobble Guide to remain authentic and useful.
Not allowed:
- Self-promotion or advertising without permission
- Posting affiliate links
- Referral links
- Unsolicited promotions
- Repetitive or automated posts
- Bots or scraping tools
You may share personal social media handles only in your profile bio, not in posts or comments.
7. Reporting & Enforcement
7.1 Reporting
If you see content that violates these guidelines:
- Use the in-app Report feature
- Select the reason that best fits the issue
Reports help keep the community safe.
7.2 What Happens After a Report
Depending on severity, we may:
- Remove content
- Issue warnings
- Temporarily restrict accounts
- Permanently ban accounts
Severe violations may result in immediate termination.
8. Appeals
If you believe a moderation action was a mistake, you may appeal by contacting:

Include:
- Your username or email
- A link or screenshot of the content
- A brief explanation
We will review the appeal as soon as possible.
9. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these guidelines to reflect changes in community behavior, platform requirements, or legal standards.
Updates will be indicated by the “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the app means you agree to the updated guidelines.
